                    Take         A         Walk

Open to anyone

          

            Ichibashi walked through the gates of 

    the Sohma estate deciding that she needed to

    to take a walk. She had just gotten into an

    argument with her father, after she was 

    caught talking to her younger brother.

    She was upset over how he had called her

    a monster. He always did, and it hurt her

    each time. 

    Tears began to fall down her cheek, but she

    quickly wiped them away. She didn't like 

    people watching her cry, let alone strangers.

    

    Ichibashi came to a stop at a vending

    vending machine unsure what to do now.

    Turn back, or keep going a little longer?

    It was getting late, the watch on her wrist

    showed that it was close to 6pm. Dinner

    was soon, but she didn't feel hungry anymore.

    She let out a sigh and sat on the ground 

    holding her knees to her chest, watching

    people walk by.

Nagisa wouldn't call herself an 'empath' per say. Sometimes it was difficult to tell when someone was troubled, sometimes it wasn't. There were tells to help her, of course. Different people had different tells, but sometimes she could feel it roll off in waves. The girl across the way felt like an ocean. Slowly, as if trying not to startle an injured bird, she went to the venting machines. Her last shift had just ended and if she was going to try and help, they'd both need something in their hands.

The coins were counted carefully before she closed her fist around them. Shifting her weight to one foot, Nagisa let out a thoughtful hum that was a little too comedically done to be honest.

"I always have the hardest time picking drinks at this time of day. No coffee because you'll be up all night. No tea because you'll be too relaxed to do homework." The young woman mused before making her selection.

Nagisa turned to the girl, a drink hanging in each hand, and held them out so she could make her decision. Melon soda on the left. Mugicha on the right.

"Do you mind if I sit with you? I just got out of work and I could use a little break."
