Here’s a dress of gold and blue, Sure was fun being good to you...

Sydney just wanted to come out look about the place, but today the streets were sure busy and bustling. Her hazel eyes darting about making sure not to allow any men to accidentally bump into her. Or at least trying not to. She brushed a hand through her hair, tucking a golden blonde stand behind her ear. Her long wavy hair that went just below her waist, with little "flicks" similar to curls towards the end of each lock of hair, lightly bounced as she walked. She was sporting a pink long sleeve dress sweater that exposed her shoulders and thigh high heeled boots.

It just seemed so busy for such a small town it perplexed the girl a bit. She did get some interesting looks with her attire, but she didn’t let this phase her. She always liked dressing in things that flattered her, even if they seemed a bit more than what people would normally wear but for her it was important to dress well, and enjoy the look. Regardless a young woman knocked into her, apologizing to Sydney profusely. Waving it off as it being okay, the other person scurried off in a hurry. Probably having to be somewhere in a hurry.

Sighing she brushed herself off, sighing in relief that it was a female and not a male. But this is where it all went wrong. Suddenly as she thought she was in the clear. With a puff of smoke causing people to look she turned into a chibi version of a lion, a male one that. Before the smoke cleared she acted quickly grabbing her clothes in her teeth bounding away towards some place more secluded. She wasn’t the size of a normal lion by any means but she wasn’t exactly small either. Running she probably looked like a blur to anyone passing by, probably thinking it was a large dog or something.

With her curse in her family most Leos born with the curse were male so having a fully maned lion didn’t seem so odd to her since she was used to it. She hid in a secluded alley behind a large dumpster hoping that no one would spot her. But boy was she about to have a hard time, if she were spotted a lion running around with woman’s clothes in its mouth.

Takara sighed another day, another twenty-four hours of avoiding his parents. Takara didn't know what he would do today the streets he was out of his allowance so the arcade was a no go. And the library, he didn't particularly want to read today either. As luck would have it he saw something out of the corner of his eyes. Was that an animal, probably a dog with how big it was and how fast it was moving, he better check it out it seemed to go down that alley. He didn't particularly want someone to lose their pet with how busy it was. Takara then went down the alleyway and started to whistle for the dog.

"Here boy, or here girl you can come out, I'm not going to hurt you" Takara said in a kind and gentle voice. He looked around then he looked up in down the alleyway, then he decided to look behind the Industrial dumpster. He was surprised to see what was behind it it wasn't a big dog like he initially thought it was a lion... and were girly clothes in his mouth. He slowly backed away from the lion trying to not make any sudden movements, this was a dangerous situation. He reached into the pocket of the camo pattern cargo pants he was wearing for a cellphone. "It's a perverted lion, I need to call animal control" he muttered to himself under his breath. Normally Takara wouldn't do this but he might not have a choice. That mane was definitely the mane of a lion. He tried to move more but he was parylyzed with fear, he couldn't even move his body.

She heard a voice coming from somewhere in the alleyway, and her heart dropped. Her heart started beating fast since she was panicking. She didn’t want to have her family doctor to erase any more memories for a while! She just got here not too long ago, and it was just too soon to be dealing that that. Stopping in her tracks as she whipped around stood a guy, a few years older than her. To her, he looked like he was going to pee himself after seeing her. She panicked internally but she couldn’t drop her clothes. She couldn’t make a dash for it. She was trapped right there.

Sydney really didn’t know what to do. As soon as he called her a perverted lion, she let out a growl. He called her perverted how in the world could he get that assumption? Then she realized her clothes were in her mouth and immediately dropped them on the ground, looking all around for a viable exit. Was some stranger going to learn her secret? She than thought of something that just might work. What if she pretended to be a robotic animal? But even than that could backfire cause she could transform any minute now.

It wasn’t like she could dial anyone, she had left her own cell phone at home. So she was in trouble. She started backing up despite being a wild animal.

A scared growl came out of her as she backed up as far as she could. Her tail swishing, the only thing she could do was run once she grabbed her clothes. She saw him reach into his pants presumably for a phone, and panicked. But maybe if she pretended to be a dog in a costume, would he fall for it? She had to try because time was running out, she started waving her tail back and forth and barked. Maybe he’d pet her and be on his way? To make it more believable at least in her mind, she sat up sitting pretty with her paws off the ground, and rolled her tongue out of her mouth. Would he believe it? She didn’t know but she had to do something. Internally she couldn’t help but feel stupid having to resort to something that maybe just be laughed it.

Takara looked at the lion in fear instantly turned into confusion, as a very fake sounding bark came from the lion-like something a person would do. "D-did you just speak Lion?" he knew what bark sounded like that was not it. It sounded like a bad impression someone would do when mimicking a human. Takara simply grunted either he's finally lost his sanity, or that Lion can talk. "Hey, I asked you a question Perverted Lion" he used a commanding tone like he would use with his little sister when she stole his food out of the fridge. Maybe if he pushed the Lions buttons enough it would slip up again. "Man why would you steal lady clothes, I bet they look real ugly on you" great he was out of insults. This might not be the smartest idea he has had, no it's probabally the worst idea he had but this was really suspicous. Plus if he messed up he could always hoof it away from her a bead of sweat slowly rolled down his face.

Just to make sure he was ready, he slid his left foot backwards so he could get ready to run if this turned sour. But he had to try the glare he had on his face this better not be somebody screwing with him, he be pissed.

Hearing him ask her if she just spoke she went wide eyed and she didnt want to our right speak. So she jas a long lifted her shoulders and her arms and shrugged. Must have been a weird sight to see. A lion shrugging like a human would? What an odd thing she was sure it was. Than she came up with an idea. Just maybe if she got him to turn around for a moment, just maybe she would turn back to normal in which she can hurry up place her clothes back on and act like she was searching for her heeled boot that a strange animal took, as long aa she left it off. Cause maybe she could him convince him he was just seeing things and it was a dog in a costume.

Now hearing him call her a perverted lion again only made her grumble under her breath. This guy only making it harder for her not to yell at him for calling her that. Even going as far to say that the clothes would look ugly on her, her te oer really started to flare up. But she couldnt let him gsg to her, cause if she talked it would all be over. She would have to force her friend, the owl to erase his memories of this encounter. She really didn't want it to come down to that.

She had to make it convincing for him to turn around. That was her only choice. So all of a sudden she purposely made her eyes go even more wide as she tilted her head clearly too look around him and took a step back to make it look like something that scared her was comong up behind him. She has to make it look believable as she thought of the scariest thing she could to her. Which happened to be not being able to protecr her family. The fear really came through on the creature's face. Syndey was hoping he'd turn around just long enough for this to work.

Well with the shrug the lion did earlier it almost definitely understood him. He growled in annoyance, it seemed the Lion wouldn't break, there was only one thing left he could do is just wait and stare at it. Then the lion's eyes widened, it was looking behind him eyes wide with fear. Takara growled and looked behind himself, just to make sure nothing was behind him. "I don't see anything, what were you scared of?" Takara asked. He needed to look around the alleyway just to make sure whatever scared the Lion wasn't there anymore. Takara had to make a few once-overs of the alleyway. Damn what he was doing is really stupid, that lion could be really dangerous, but he could never resist an animal, especially with how scared it just looked. Maybe the Lion escaped from somewhere bad, he hoped it wasn't injured, maybe that's why the lion sounded so weird earlier.

"Alright Perverted Lion, I looked around whatever you saw is gone now so your safe" Takara said with a more gentle voice almost calming, it is a voice he usually used to calm down scared animals.

Sydney waited and finally the moment arrived where he looked away. This was the chance and she was hoping it would work. Cause boy it couldn't have been better timing cause a poof of white smoke filled the area around the lion,  who had turned back to human form scrambled to cover her naked body with putting on her clothes.

Leaving just one boot on before the smoke cleared and pretended to run in and stop picking up her boot she purposely left on the ground saying with growl, " Ugh, a that dog in a lion costume was lucky.. I turn my back for one second and my shoes are gone. That the last time I take my boots off to adjust them. " her voice quite irritated sounding. In her mind she was sure he hadn't paid attention to what the clothes the lion had looked like. Or maybe he did and would just think himself to be crazy or just imagining it. All she knew is, she has to put on this act. Or she could be found out.

She blinked as she brushed herself off before putting her heeled boot back on and looking at the guy in front of her she brushed a piece of her long hair back as she said, " Are you looking for something that animal stole too? " She said purposely putting on a perplexed look on her face, "Because I hope that dog in that costume didn't steal anything from you too. " Her tone now having a worried tone in it. She so hoped this worked becausd if it didn't she was gonna have to get this guy's memories erased. Which would be a shame cause he seemed like an interesting individual.

Takara turned red as he heard a female's voice come from behind him. Takara turned around to look at her, his face still red. "Took...nothing," Takara said only two words for some reason he always had trouble talking to other genders. Takara was trying to figure out were that lion went, it shrugged there was no way that was normal. There was no way it could have been a dog like a lady in front of him said. It was confusing he could have sworn that, it was a lion. Too many things didn't add up, there's no way a dog could have done what that Lion did. "D-did...you see where it went," he said taking pauses between words to keep himself calm. Though he also was keeping his distance so he could keep his cool. He couldn't lose his train of thought. "Those...Clothes...look...familiar" he was taking time saying his sentences still. But those clothes did look familiar, where did he see them why can't he remember.

Takara grunted why did this always happen to him around ladies, he couldn't focus around females. "Nevermind" Takara couldn't focus the trail of thought was gone for now. He needed to clear his head he couldn't think when this lady was here. "I need to go" Hopefully she would let him leave and search for the Lion.

Sydney blinked and kind of chuckled seeing the other guys face, turn red. In her mind, she couldn't help but take it as a sign that possibly her plan may have worked. She brushed her clothes off and smiled as he asked where it went, " No, unfortunately I didn't. But whoever owns that thing, needs to keep it on leash. " She didn't want to lie, and man did she hate doing so but she had too. Right now she had no choice but to tell this guy any lies concerning what just happened. She added, " It probably scurried off. I was yelling at it earlier for taking my shoe." She said shrugging, and pretended to look around for any trace of lion. Hearing him saying he recognized her clothes, " Oh! Probably seen me running by chasing that thing. Might be wear you recognize them. The brain is funny like that." Her voice nonchalant as she tried to be as believable as possible. She had learned to lie really well in these circumstances.

She noticed he went from this straight talker to taking pauses between his words. Could it be because she was a chick? This made her giggle for a moment as she noticed this and she blinked hearing a never mind come from him. Hearing how he needed to go. She couldn't just let him run off, cause he might still connect the dots to her. She had to keep up the charade. But maybe make a new friend in the process. " Wait! " She came running up to him and smiled sweetly, " Maybe I can help you find whatever this thing is? I thought it was a dog, cause you know how people dress them up all the time but anyway, I wouldn't mind helping you search. After all to brains are better than one right? " She reached down adjusted both of her boots once more to make sure she wouldn't fall on her butt with them being on a little wrong. Besides they were riding her thigh a bit, since they were thigh high boots.

" You probably want to search yourself.. but if its really a lion from the zoo or something. Maybe you shouldn't be looking for it alone? " She added, looking at him concerned. Maybe just maybe she could talk get to know this guy and make a new friend out of it. That and she had to keep tabs on him now. Because he found out and was going to tell others. This was something she would have to deal with if it came down to that point.
