[attr="class","columns"]He hated waiting. Boredom was not his friend, and yet that was probably how he felt about 70% of the time. He enjoyed drama or excitement. Hence why he played a ton of video games. This time however, he wasn't feeling the original boredom that would come with him arriving at the intended place early because he was a psycho. In fact, he was very preoccupied with reading a particular article that he had come across. The problem was, the Japanese interpretation was flawed at best and a mess at worst. It was confusing simply due to the themes that it suggested to be real. It was about the Bennett family and yet... Seemed so old.

The article mentioned something about a transformation. What kind of transformation was the confusing part. Something about an owl. Or... he was uncertain that he understood this correctly, and nearly decided that he should just forget the article all together. It made no sense and seemed impossible anyway. He sighed softly and slipped his phone into his pocket. They were meant to meet at the Bennett Coffee shop at noon, but he'd come at 11:45. Why did he do this to himself? Perhaps he should look into getting a couple mobile games, even though he cared little for them and found them almost too simple to satisfy his brain's craving for adventure.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop thinking about that article, and why Jaden had flinched the other day. A couple days before they had played some of the online game he'd mentioned together and Simeon had actually really enjoyed their time together. Which was saying something, because enjoying time with others wasn't necessarily in the front of Simeon's thoughts on a regular basis. Nothing weird seemed to happen then. Though they weren't exactly in the same room. Discord was enough for him.

He took a sip from his coffee and leaned against the back of the seat he sat in. He needed a cigarette. He wondered if Jaden would be offended if he had one.

[attr="class","jadenPost"]Morning photoshoots got him every time, forcing him to wake up earlier than he wanted to, and potentially interfering with any plans he had previously scheduled in. He shot his agent a look of annoyance from his position in the car. Pressing his forehead against the glass, he tried whatever Jedi mind tricks he could to move his agent along. They had finished up half an hour ago, yet the ever detail oriented man was still going around talking to people. He had places to be, people to see, and and a bed calling his name once the day was over and done with. A least the car was left running for the heater, and he stopped seeing his own breath about four minutes ago.

Jaden perked up and leaned away from the window as his agent turned and finally started walking toward the car. Finally! He really hated being late, but it always seemed like his agent did not care unless it was work related. The car door opened and closed before the vehicle started forward. Jaden let out a sigh of relief before checking the time on his phone.

He had time, though he would be cutting it close by his own personal preferences. Fashionably late was not his style unless it was to a party, not a personal outing.

The model fiddled with one of the two phones on his person on the way there, pulling up one of the many game apps that lined its screen. He finished up a level just as the car pulled to a stop, and a quick glance was all he needed before the phone was locked and pocketed and his seat belt was unfastened. "Thank you~" he chimed to his agent as he pushed open his door and stepped out. Jaden turned, walking backwards a few steps and waved to his agent with both hands.

Turning on the heel of his shoe, he quickly side stepped to narrowly avoid a child being chased by their friend. He tugged at the sleeves of his sweater before he entered the cafe, and one hand lifted into the air to wave at the barista. He flashed a smile to them before glancing around and locating a familiar mop of red hair. His smile grew, and he wasted no time in walking over and slipping into the chair across from Simeon.

Jaden leaned his elbows onto the table and rested his cheeks in his hands. "Miss me?"
