The smell of the coffee came from the small cafe. Even though the Bennett's owned this place, this Bennett really need some sort of coffee drink. Between school, trying to manage the Bennett family as the head, and just your typical teenage girl stress, this teenage girl opened the door to the shop and walked in letting it close softly behind her. Her lips curled into a smile as she closed her hazel eyes closing, she took a deep breath taking in the smell of the place. It smelled so good in here! She reopened her eyes, and walked up to the counter, and ordered a grande coffee, a medium donut shop roast, with some vanilla flavoring and some french vanilla creamer mixed in.

After handing some bills to the cashier, and any she got back she shoved into the tip jar. The young lady stood there waiting for her drink; her thoughts drifted to thoughts of what else should she do today? Today she didn't really have anything planned to be honest but at least she felt she was starting off her day right by grabbing some coffee. When her name was called, she snapped out of her thoughts and smiled nodded thanking them graciously for her drink and proceeded to walk over and sit down in chair and table set close to the shop window. She took a sip of her coffee and bit her lip it being to hot, she opened the cap and set it down on the table to let it cool off a little more before proceeding to drink it.

She crossed her legs carefully, since she was in a pink sweater dress and some really nice lighter pink heels. Certainly the girl knew how to dress and she was proud of it. Her eyes wandered to the window shop glass window. The open view of the street, was a nice touch especially for Sydney, the young woman to sit and people watch to enjoy her coffee. Once it cooled off even just a little of course.

she's beauty, she's grace

Whoever said diamonds were a girls best friend clearly never had a good cup of coffee. And a good cup of coffee was exactly what Mireille needed right now. She had spent way too long that morning dealing with children that honestly didn't want to listen to a single thing she said, something that was always frustrating to the dancer. If they wanted to learn ballet, then why couldn't they just understand that their incredibly talented dance instructor knew what she was doing? It wasn't like it had been her life's goal or anything.

As much as she pretended it was a nuisance, she did seem to genuinely adore her younger students. They always reminded her of, well, herself, cliche as it was. But, never the less, coffee was nice after what had already been a tiresome day. The biscotti she bought with it made it all the better. There was a smile upon her lips as she brought her mouth close to the cup. She didn't sip from it just yet, instead letting the seemingly intoxicating scent and steam fill her nostrils. Oh was it delightful!

Turning around, she went to find a seat and immediately spotted a familiar face. Her smile brightened all the more as she moved towards the younger Bennett girl, sitting down across from her without so much as asking if it was alright. "Syyyyyd~! It is so good to see you! Your dress looks beautiful by the way."

Sydney heard the sound of the door from the cafe come open but paid no mind to it, probably just another customer like herself. Her eyes locked on the street watching the people pass by, she let out a sigh. That sure must be nice. No worry it seemed these people had in the world, and if she just willy nilly didn't pay attention to her surroundings. It could result in clashing with a boy and oh Kaibara did not need a lion running around by any means. She shrugged and thought maybe just maybe she should stop worrying about that? Considering it wasn't going to just up and go away randomly. Ah well, at least she could enjoy a nice cup of joe.

She placed the lid back on figuring it had to have been cooled down by now and taking a sip from her coffee, with a soft mm coming from her lips definitely confirmed this. It was so delicious! As simple as it was the flavor was nice and just the way she liked it. Before taking a second sip she heard a nickname being called out from a familiar voice. She smiled waved her over and even said, " Hey Miri." Throwing a nickname back and giggling, smiling as Mireille came to sit down across from her. Not that she minded, this was a cousin she was pretty close to and quite happy to see and was delighted to see her.

" It's good to see you too! And thanks! You know me, I'm always trying to look nice. Surprisingly enough, it's comfortable and fashionable so it works!" Sydney smiled more. she loved her outfit choices to be noticed not because she was superficial or anything of the sort but she really took pride in how well she took care of herself. Taking another sip of her coffee, letting out a small ah to indicate she was enjoying it she set the cup back down and leaned in a bit. "So, how was your class? Still being a rowdy or have they learned to listen to you yet?" She asked hoping for the better for dear friend and family member. It probably was the latter but one could simply hope right? Kids would be kids though.
