I'm getting tired & I need someone to rely on

Oh simple thing, where have you gone? Jaden definitely sticks out, even during the times he would rather fade into the shadows. His blue hair -- which is quite natural, mind you -- might be the first thing you spot in a crowd, and it has definitely given his teachers something to complain about already. Soft, effeminate features are enough to make anyone double take, especially if they catch him after a shoot, still wearing the women's clothing he was modeling moments before. If his natural beauty does not catch your eye, then maybe it will be how he expertly dodges anyone on the street, regardless of their gender.

Jaden is a sweetheart, whether you bother to get to know him or not. He meets strangers with a smile and extends a hand to those in need. He can become cold and emotionally detached should the situation stress him out, a means of protecting himself from being taken advantage of or accidentally changing forms. Watch out, though, because he's too smart for his own good. He gets bored easily, and he is usually fiddling with something. Otherwise, he might just leave the conversation entirely if he finds a better distraction.

POSSIBLE IDEAS

Jaden is absolutely open for anything and everything, so feel free to pitch any idea you may have! There are a few small ideas I have, and anyone in the Bennett family will definitely need to hit him up to see how their relationship may have or could develop.

OMG I KNOW YOU | Jaden has been modeling since he was fourteen, and moving to Japan has not stopped his career. It would be neat if someone recognized him and was maybe a fan? Or flat out hates him for completely confusing them since they thought he was a woman. lol. Even better, if someone wants be the stereotypical obsessive stalker fan, please make Jaden uncomfortable.

THE NEW KID | Jaden was tutored his whole life and briefly did online schooling. Upon coming to Japan, he decided he wanted the high school experience while he could still have it. Of course, his impression of high school is the western variety based on movies and television, and he did not watch enough anime or dramas to know what he was getting himself into. So! Bullies and new friends alike are welcome!

GAME ON | Jaden plays countless video games when he is home or even on the go (he has quite the collection of mobile games to keep him preoccupied before shoots and between classes). I'd imagine he has an MMO or online co-op game that he plays more than anything else, and it would be neat-o if there's some super cliche offline meetup that he runs into an online friend / party member at. I dunno, I like cliches. lol.

FAN OUT | He's going to need at least one slip up that leads to a very miffed peacock roaming Kaibara. Who wants to bear witness?

So so so,, I have an idea or two? I don't know if they'd be in the same class, but maybe Nagisa gets assigned as Jaden's guide? I'm not sure how long the Bennetts have been in Kaibara, but I feel like Nagisa might be the teacher's first pick because of her more-than-limited understanding of English.

The second idea is that Nagisa takes up a temporary job helping out on different photo shoots and one of them happens to be for Jaden. There's a moment of, "They look familiar" to "Oh shoot, it's the new student!" Like before, I don't know if they'd be in the same class but Jaden is a hard person to miss. Nagisa would definitely have a mental //pointing spiderman// moment sljfslds

Nagisa would be a little hesitant to interact and befriend an American, but like you said, Jaden is a sweetheart to anyone and everyone despite how the other person acts. Seeing that would definitely cause Nagisa to think twice about a possible friendship. If Jaden wanted to be friends in the first place, that is.

If they do become friends, maybe Jaden can introduce Nagisa to gaming! If only because I'm a huge slut for video game OSTs and I think they'd be pretty pieces for her to skate to. Plus, I really like the idea of Nagisa finding an outlet with games. They can be so therapeutic, you know?

I would actually love to do both ideas, assuming Nagisa is in her final year of high school. I think the Bennetts have been around long enough that their transfer would have already came and went, but we could definitely do a 'past' thread for Jaden's first day.

Actually, even if they aren't in the same grade, it could still be worked as Nagisa being pulled in for that reason even though an upperclassman probably should have been used, but the teachers will probably use whoever is easiest to grab.

Cue Jaden pretending to know no Japanese except for dumb phrases he "learned from anime" while in the teachers' lounge, only to break into fluent Japanese the moment they leave.

Then once that's said and done, with Nagisa probably thinking Jaden's an otaku, their second fated encounter! Jobs!

Jaden is pretty much down for befriending anyone if they don't outright rub him the wrong way. The only main conflict will definitely be Jaden flinching away from any and all chances of physical contact in the earliest stages of friendship. That's just his own little hurdle to jump over, though.

He will most definitely introduce her to gaming eventually. Once they get to know each other better and he gets a better idea of what she likes in general, he'll figure out the best games to get her hooked. >:3c

Nagisa is in her last year of high school, yes! A past thread would be fun! Though I won't lie, a part of me really likes making her a grade younger if only because I like the idea of a teacher spotting her in the hallway and being like,

"Ah, Mishima-san! Perfect timing, you don't look too busy! Please show Bennett-san around!"
"Shouldn't an upperclassman be doing this?"
"Yes but I'm afraid they're all studying hard for their exams! Young students like you have nothing to fill their time with anyways, so this shouldn't be a problem!"

Ah, solidarity! The most physical I see Nagisa getting is patting or lightly bumping someone's shoulder for reassurance and even that is like,, a little much. She's a shy, awkward little bug sldkfjlsj Hugs are only for family (and if someone really really really needs one, asks)
