At home he plays his mask very much the same, especially with the other members of his family. His role is given to him and therefore he must play the part. If his parents got wind of who he really was, there'd be blood and tears for sure.[break][break] CREATIVE; Jasper is very smart. Learning about medicine he has to be. But Jasper is really a creative. Music is where he really excels. He can pick up any instrument and play it, conventionally or unconventionally. He even writes a lot of his own music. His heart and desire is to play music for an audience, but his father and mother have banned music in the house, telling him that he needs to focus on study and medicine. So that's what he does, and he plays the perfect child in order to hide his continual practice and to keep the rest of the family in the dark so they don't accidentally slip it to his parents.[break][break] [attr="class","nodensright1"]SUBJECT BACKGROUND [attr="class","nodensright21"] [attr="class","nodensright22"] Even from a young age Jasper loved music. His parents thought music lessons would be a good distraction from studies and the Bennett family life. But even as a five year old this became a problem. Their branch of the family were experts in the medical field and were designated the family doctors. This was also to be the fate of the young Jasper himself. His parents knew of his curse, but because of that they pushed him harder to be the best. He had a responsibility to the Leo, to the Bennett family and to their branch. Music only became an obsession that got in the way of his studies. [break][break] At the age of 12 music was banned from his life. He couldn't play, he couldn't listen, writing music was a big no no. In order to respect the wishes of his parents the other Bennett branches agreed not to even speak about music around him. Obviously this didn't last too long especially with cousins his age and such, but even so Jasper took on a facade of his own that hid his nightly outings and the guitar he'd bought himself. He played perfect. Was charming to girls but played hard to get to keep them from seeing his Barn owl form and distanced himself from the Bennett family as he dug into his studies at school and college level medical studies. [break][break] He envys many of his cousins as they go into their dreams as he fades into the background and ignores the desires of his heart. [break][break] When it was announced they would be moving to Japan Jasper sold his guitar. There was no way he'd be able to sneak it onto the plane under suspicion. Even so, his mother caught on and found some of his written music. As he started a new life in Kaibara with his parents watching him closer than ever. Their spies are everywhere.
